Marinated Grilled Beef Tri-Tip

  • 3/4 cup Red Wine
  • 2 tbsps Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsps Dijon Mustard
  • 6 tbsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 Sprigs of thyme
  • 1 1/2 lbs Beef Tri-Tip
  • Kosher Salt
Directions

Mix the red wine, soy sauce and mustard together. Then whisk in the olive oil. Add the pepper, garlic, and thyme. Coat with the meat with the marinade, refrigerate and let marinate at least 2-3 hours, but not more than 12.

Remove the meat from the marinade and season with salt. Grill to desired doneness. Remove from heat, cover loosely with foil and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing thinly across the grain.
